Terry Jones narrates this intriguing documentary about the numeral. Did you know that ancient Egypt invented the number 1,000,000, and it was visualized by a drawing of a figure of a minion pleading for mercy? Neither did I, and I really should have known. I had lots of minions, and I have lots of millions. Anyway, this documentary is up to the usual PBS standards, although the CGI is a bit dodgy and it may be tedious for those with a low tolerance for math or Monty Python. I watched it on Netflix.
